Jason Hopper

My name is Jason Hopper. I was raised and still live in Rome Georgia. I have worked  at AT&T for sixteen years now. I'm married to a wonderful woman with three amazing daughters.  I have loved fishing and being around water for as long as I can remember. About four years ago I started kayak fishing and have loved and lived it ever since. I fish salt and fresh water, from rivers, creeks, lakes to inshore and offshore saltwater fishing. I look at kayak fishing not only as a sport but a brotherhood.

I paddle an Ocean Kayak trident 13 & 11.  For me the trident series are awesome yaks for their ability to paddle across water quickly when needing to get somewhere fast, the rod pod for storing rods when coming back in the surf, and overall comfortable feel and stability.

I use a Hummingbird 678c HD depth/fish finder which is mounted on a YakAttack Cellblock. Carlisle Expedition paddle and a MTI PFD. Ram rod holders Daiwa SALD40 2spd reel, Daiwa Certate, Caldia, and Lexa spinning reels. St. Croix Avid spinning rods along with Shimano Terez spinning and conventional rods. Big fan of BionicCustom Baits spinnerbaits along PowerTeam lures, Rapala and Berkley Gulp Alive.
