This past weekend I got a chance to catch up with an old friend and show him the ropes of kayak fishing. We both took out an Old Town Predator on Lake Annabessacook in Winthrop, ME in search of a quality bite. In only his second cast, my buddy hooked up with a smallmouth bass and that pretty much set the trend for the following 24 hours! Lines stayed tight and fish were hauled in through the evening and the following morning. Charlie noted the stability of the Predator as he stood up for the first time to cast, and his ‘yak would see the likes of smallmouth, largemouth, pickerel and pike Saturday morning.
Charlie set his new Personal Best!
It’s always awesome to provide people with a quality fishing experience, especially when they eager to learn!
